Ashley Cole has explained his reasons for turning down the chance to feature in a book depicting Arsenal's famous 'Invincibles' team.
The Roma left-back played for the Gunners, who clinched the 2003/04 Premier League title without defeat, but did not appear in any interviews for the book celebrating their triumph.
Former England international Cole left Arsenal for Chelsea in 2006 in a controversial move and has taken to Twitter to reveal his motives for opting out of the Invincible memories.

But I will never forget my times at arsenal and the amazing achievements I accomplished there with great people
