Chelsea goalkeeper Courtois yearns for Real Madrid

Thibaut Courtois reportedly wants to leave Chelsea for Real Madrid.

According to Spanish publication OK Diario, the Belgian goalkeeper is interested in making the move to the Santiago Bernabeu having previously enjoyed success in Spain while on loan with capital rivals Atletico Madrid.

It is believed that 23-year-old Courtois is keen to leave Stamford Bridge and would love the chance to join Spanish giants Real.

Super agent Jorge Mendes is being touted as the man to make the deal happen although it is suggested that Madrid still prefer his other top keeper client, Manchester United's David De Gea, who they missed out in the summer transfer window.

Keylor Navas is the current number one under Rafa Benitez but Real are eyeing another world-class gloveman which has reportedly captured the imagination of Courtois who spent three seasons with Atleti, helping them win the 2014 La Liga title as well as the 2013 Copa del Rey and the 2012 Europa League.
