Chelsea goal hero Drogba: We didn't do enough to win

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba admits the team did not do enough to win the game against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night. The Blues reached the round of 16 despite recording a 2-2 away draw with Madrid thanks to a brace from Drogba who returned from a three-match European ban.

Chelsea allowed Atletico to score a late equaliser through a brilliant Sergio Aguero free-kick in injury time and Drogba says it was not a good enough performance to produce a win.

"I think we could have done better with the wall and maybe avoided the free-kick," the Ivorian told Sky Sports.

"It's frustrating to concede a goal like this after the efforts we produced - but it was a good game.

"Madrid had to win so they gave everything but even after they scored we kept pushing and we played even better.

"We scored two goals but it wasn't enough to win the game."
