Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has revealed he will rest key defender Gary Cahill on Tuesday night.
The England international has been an integral part of the Blues' brilliant early-season form but the time has come for a break according to Mourinho.
The Chelsea manager admits centre-back Cahill will be the only player he leaves out of the Capital One Cup quarter-final at Derby County with the 28-year old to be replaced by young gun Kurt Zouma.
"We have no reason to rest people, everybody goes. We're going to play against a top team in the Championship," Mourinho told Chelsea TV.
"The difference between a top team in the Championship and the teams of the Premier League are very, very small. We played there last year and it was not an easy game.
"The only one that is not going, because he played against Sporting (Lisbon) and I never gave him a break, is Cahill.
"Cahill doesn't play, I play Zouma."
Former Bolton star Cahill has made 22 appearances this season, all starts, including 16 in the Premier League.
