Chelsea fury with Real Madrid also driving shock Bonucci bid

Chelsea are angry over Real Madrid's contact with David Luiz.

Don Balon says part of the reason of Chelsea's sudden move for AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci is out of anger over Real's attempts for Luiz.

The Blues are yet to decide on whether they will let the Brazil international leave, either on loan or permanently next month, but Madrid's attempts to rush Chelsea into making a decision has angered owner Roman Abramovich.

The Blues are now playing Madrid at their own game and will pursue one of their top targets, Leonardo Bonucci.

The AC Milan defender is attracting interest from Los Blancos over a potential January switch but Chelsea want to make things difficult for them and have now entered the race.

Tuttosport, meanwhile, says Chelsea are willing to offer Luiz to Milan in a swap for Bonucci next month.
