Chelsea fullback Ben Gordon has no regrets over his loan move to Kilmarnock.
Gordon saw several of his teammates taste Champions League action in midweek.
He said: "Chelsea are under pressure to win every single game so it is very hard to start with youngsters.
"A few of the young boys got on in the Champions League game when we were 4-1 up.
"But it is very hard for me to get into the side when you have Ashley Cole and Yuri Zhirkov at left back. To break into the Chelsea side, you need to have a few injuries and a bit of luck on your side.
"Or you could maybe get a chance in a cup game and show the manager what you can do in the first team.
"But coming out on loan is the best thing for me because I will get games under my belt."
