Chelsea fullback Ashley Cole has hailed England's Bulldog spirit.

Cole roared out his warning ahead of tomorrow's big Euro 2012 quarter-final showdown with Italy.

Cole, who wins his 98th cap in Kiev, said: "We're like 11 bulldogs who will never give up, who will always work for each other and basically die on the pitch for each other. So far it seems to be working.

"I've been lucky enough to play 97 times and hopefully I will get to 100 in the final, which would be amazing - what little kids' dreams are made of.

"I just love football. I've always enjoyed it. Being outside with my mates, getting really muddy and dirty and smelly. It's something I always loved."
