Pedro Rodriguez says he found it strange seeing himself in a blue shirt.
The 28-year-old joined Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer and admits it was a shock to catch a glimpse of himself wearing the blue of the West Londoners after spending his entire career in the blaugrana of the Catalan giants.
Something apart from the shirt colour that Pedro will also miss about playing for Chelsea, will be teaming up with the likes of Lionel Messi, as well as a large number of fellow Spaniards at Camp Nou.
"I will miss Messi so much," Pedro told Spanish publication El Pais. "He's a great teammate, a great guy. We've lived a lot of things together, a lot of matches, a lot of goals. He knows me well.
"It felt weird, seeing myself with Chelsea's shirt, and imagining playing and not finding Messi, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets or Andres Iniesta on the pitch.
"Fortunately I continue to enjoy them in the national team."
