Chelsea are monitoring Hajduk Split striker Nikola Kalinic.

The Croatia international, 20, has attracted serious interest from Valencia and Real Betis, however he is also a long-term target for Chelsea football chief Frank Arnesen.

Kalinic needs to establish himself as a Croatia regular to win a UK work permit, but Chelsea could move early for the player if Hajduk indicate a willingness to sell.
