Former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman has warned Lazar Markovic about moving to Stamford Bridge.

Partizan Belgrade forward Markovic has been a long-term target for the Blues.

Kezman told Sportski Zurnal: "I hope that the quality and talent Markovic is able to prove, but I'm afraid there are common examples of players who have 'disappeared', such as Romelu Lukaku.

"I had, at one time, an offer from Milan, however I decided to go to PSV. For a young player, the Dutch or Spanish league is the best choice."
