Chelsea fans planning Terry protest

Chelsea fans are planning a mass walkout in the 26th minute during the Blues' final Premier League clash this season against Leicester City as protest against the club's failure to award legend John Terry a new contract.

Terry announced back in January that he will be ending his lifelong association with Chelsea at the end of the season after not being offered a new deal and the defender seems to have already played his last game for the Blues as he is unavailable for the final fixture against Leicester ue to suspension.

The Chelsea supporters are clearly unhappy with how Terry has been treated and according to reports from the Daily Express, it has been claimed that the fans are planning a mass walkout from Stamford Bridge on 26 minutes to honour the captain's playing number.

Chelsea Supporters Trust chairman Tim Rolls has gone on to state that his group is not involved in the planned protest but has admitted that there is a lot of discontent regarding how the club have handled the Terry situation.

Rolls said: "We have heard of groups planning to walk out, but that is nothing to do with us. We don't think there will be many. But there will be a lot of chanting and singing and there will be banners. There is a lot of discontent."
