Chelsea have failed with two bids for Juventus fullback Alex Sandro.
The London Evening Standard says Chelsea have had offers of £52 million and £61m rejected.
Antonio Conte's old bosses have already parted with star man Leonardo Bonucci and have offered Sandro a new £84,000-a-week deal to keep him.
The English champions, however, are prepared to pay the 26-year-old in excess of £100,000 but that has not affected Juve's stance and Conte wants his ex-charge to demand a move in writing.
Juve boss Max Allegri insists his player is not leaving Turin but they are in the process of cutting short the two-year loan of Leonardo Spinazzola, who plays in Sandro's position at Atalanta, 12 months early.
