Chelsea face missing out Guus Hiddink.
The Daily Mail says Hiddink is being tipped for the Bayern Munich hot seat amid growing unrest at the Bundesliga giants.
Hiddink, 63, is mulling over whether to accept a two-year contract extension with Russia following their failure to qualify for next summer's World Cup finals.
He has also been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge as technical director while PSV Eindhoven are believed to have offered him a boardroom role.
They are not the only suitors, but the Dutchman has ruled out linking up with Nigeria or stepping in to help Diego Maradona and Argentina for South Africa 2010.
"I'm not going to the World Cup in South Africa as a coach," said Hiddink. "I couldn't get there with the Russia team and it would be unfair to Russia's players for me go to the tournament with another team."
