Chelsea will make a move for Atletico Madrid frontman Antoine Griezmann if Diego Costa decides to return to Spain.

Costa is believed to miss the Spanish capital sparking rumours of a move back to La Liga.

Griezmann has attracted many of Europe's top clubs having scored 25 goals last season for Atletico.

The Frenchman's contract runs until 2020 but contains a buy out clause of £47 million and the Blues could make a move if they lose last season's top scorer Costa in the summer.

Costa remains in close contact with many players at Atletico and is believed to be on the brink of requesting a move away from Stamford Bridge having struggled to adapt in London.
