Chelsea have signed a three-year extension to their distribution deal with media giant IMG, reports www.sportspromedia.com/. The media company will continue to exclusively distribute Chelsea TV, the team's dedicated television network, worldwide outside of the UK and Ireland until the end of the 2015/16 season.

The deal will see the introduction of a new three-hour weekly programming block on the channel designed specifically for the international market.

IMG are also marketing the media rights to Chelsea's Asian tour this summer to Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, with coverage already distributed to 65 countries.
