Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet believes that the second-half cameo against Chelsea will help in young Jerome Sinclair's development as a player.
Sinclair was handed his Liverpool debut midway through the second period during their 1-1 draw against Chelsea on Sunday and the 18-year old impressed against some world-class defenders.
Mignolet was also encouraged by what he saw from Sinclair during the clash and stated that the experience against a quality Chelsea defence will only benefit him in his development as a player.
He said: "Jerome will learn from the experience going forward. I think when Sinclair came on he worked hard and put in a shift for the team.
"Fighting against defenders like Gary Cahill and John Terry will only make him better."
