Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti expects John Terry to be back for the Premier League trip to Wolves next weekend. The defender was granted compassionate leave earlier this week to travel to Dubai for crisis talks with his wife after lurid allegations came to light over an affair with the ex-girlfriend of former team-mate Wayne Bridge.
As a result, the former England captain will miss Saturday's FA Cup fifth-round clash against Cardiff.
At Friday's press conference the Italian said: "John Terry will not play tomorrow, but will be ready for the next game against Wolves.
"I think he'll come back stronger from the break. He needed to have some days' recovery.
"I haven't spoken to him. I spoke with him after Everton and told him to rest for a few days. It was my decision to give him time off."
