Chelsea are keen on holding onto defender Andreas Christensen, according to the Daily Mail.

Christensen, who is currently in the middle of a two-year loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach, is the subject of a renewed bid from the Bundesliga club who are keen to sign him on a permanent deal.

Monchengladbach have offered over £15million to the Blues, but the West London club are determined to avoid selling the promising 20-year-old.

The Dane impressed for the Bundesliga side in the recently concluded season, making 39 appearances, prompting Borussia to make an offer for a less temporary stay.
