Chelsea due windfall from Sinclair Man City move

Chelsea are due a windfall from Swansea City winger Scott Sinclair's move to Manchester City.

The Daily Mail says Chelsea will net a £500,000 bonus when Scott Sinclair finally completes his move to Manchester City this week.

The Swansea winger is expected to agree personal terms on Tuesday on a contract that will more than double his Liberty Stadium salary – which is worth in the region of £22,000 a week – after the two clubs agreed a fee of approximately £6.5million fee at the weekend.

Chelsea will see a nice return from the move because of a clause they inserted in the deal when Sinclair left Stamford Bridge for Swansea for £1.5m in 2010.
