Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has revealed he was named after Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Back in the late '80s and early '90s Belgian-born Van Damme was one of the world's biggest movie stars.
And the 1989 film Kickboxer - in which Van Damme starred as Kurt Sloane - particularly caught the eye of Zouma's parents, so much so that they decided to name their son, born five years later, after the character.
Zouma explained to the Chelsea website: "In the film, he helps everyone and is super strong.
"So my parents decided that if they gave me that name I'd be hard and always have a smile. Apparently it worked!"
