Chelsea left-back Abdul Baba Rahman has talked up the importance of Monday night's clash against rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea welcome Tottenham to Stamford Bridge and while the Blues do not have much to play for, Spurs will need to claim a victory on the night in order to keep their Premier League title hopes alive.

Anything less than a win for Spurs will see Leicester City clinch the title and Rahman has made it clear that Chelsea will be intent on claiming a victory due to the fact that the match against their London rivals means so much to the fans.

Rahman told Chelsea's official website: "I was on the bench at Tottenham and also at Arsenal and I saw the atmosphere. They were both very good.

"We know what it means to the fans and to the club as well. We expect a good atmosphere and very good support from the fans, as they do always."
