Chelsea defender Nathan Ake has pledged his international future to Holland.

Ake was a confirmed target for Ivory Coast, where new coach Marc Wilmots had openly declared plans to call him up.

However, after his Oranje selection by new coach Dick Advocaat, Ake has made it clear he sees his future with Holland.

He told AD: "If I play in an official match against Luxembourg, then it will be over."

Ake also stated he believes Wilmots understands his decision.

"The Netherlands has always been my first-choice. My parents will attend the game."
