Chelsea defender Michael Hector is on his way to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Jamaica international Hector arrived at Frankfurt Airport earlier today and is booked in for a medical, says the Wiesbadener Kurier.

The Bundesliga club hope to confirm the 24-year-old's arrival before tomorrow's friendly against Celta Vigo.

Chelsea signed Hector from Reading in a shock deadline-day deal last summer but he immediately returned on loan to the Berkshire club.

Hector, under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2020, made 35 appearances in all competitions for the Royals.
