Wolves are waiting on a breakthrough over their bid for Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne.
The Express & Star says Wolves are ready to pay up to £4million for the 22-year-old, who has had successful loan spells at Molineux in each of the last two seasons.
But the England under-21 international returned to the start of pre-season training with the double champions, his future no nearer to being sorted out.
Mancienne is still waiting to be told of Chelsea's plans for him, while they wait for all their players to return to training after the World Cup.
