Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic was delighted for Fernando Torres after he scored in victory over Aston Villa.

Torres made the win absolutely safe with a fine finish in stoppage time to make it 4-2 and the Spaniard made a contribution to all four Chelsea goals, joined in celebration by his team mates when he found the net.

"Fernando had a great performance, he played for the team and he is getting better and better," Ivanovic told chelseafc.com.

"The goal was a just reward for him and I told him thank you for the two assists. Everyone here knows what he is like as a player. He is not playing just for himself and it is a pleasure to play with him. He will be for the future one of the most important players in our club."
