Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta says he's always following the results of hometown club Osasuna.

The Spain international is hopeful of them earning promotion this season.

"Hopefully!" he told AS.

"That is the mentality of the club, always fighting. They drew 0-0 against Reus. They're in the promotion area, but there is still plenty to happen, possibly the most complicated.

"You lose or win two matches in a row and you disconnect or you get plugged into the qualification. The Segunda is very tough and there are many even teams competing for the same thing."

Ahead of their Champions League clash with Barcelona, Azpilicueta added: "I can tell you that we are very excited to be able to move to the quarterfinals, although it will not be easy."
