Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho is taking his time over his return to first team action from hamstring problems.
Carvalho is still annoyed he hurried back under former manager Luiz Felipe Scolari, who was sacked last month.
"This time we did things properly," said Carvalho, who played an hour in the reserves' 4-3 loss at Villa, to the Mirror.
"My rehab was much better than the previous one when we did some mistakes.
I came back a little too early and in the training I broke down, so after that it takes twice the time it should.
"This time I am feeling stronger and the muscle is OK so next week I will start to play for the first team."
