Chelsea defender Gary Cahill was pleased with the way they ground out a win at QPR on Sunday.
Chelsea were made to work for all three points and were fortunate to leave Loftus Road with all three points but Cahill was quick to hail his side's defensive effort.
He said: "It wasn't pretty to watch, some of our flair midfield players would have been watching the ball go over their heads every two minutes, but sometimes that's the way it is in the Premier League. Thankfully we defended well and dealt with them.
"We didn't create too much but all that matters at this stage is the fact we nicked a goal, won 1-0 and went away with three points."
