Chelsea defender Gary Cahill isn't surprised by the success Andre Villas-Boas has enjoyed at Tottenham.

Cahill believes Villas-Boas has demonstrated the talent which took Porto to the treble in 2011.

He told the London Evening Standard: "I don't think there is any question he is a top manager. Unfortunately for him it didn't work out for him at Chelsea but he has moved on, stayed in the Premier League and done a great job.

"He inherited some fantastic players but he has done really well."
