Chelsea defender Gary Cahill is ready to face his former Bolton Wanderers teammates today.
Cahill confirms the widespread belief there has been a change in the way his former side play since Owen Coyle came in as manager, with the approach now to mix the methods of going forward.
"Some of the players who are in the squad now try to play football and move the ball quickly, as opposed to just route one, but they have still got that option with players like Zat Knight and Kevin Davies. But I do think it has changed a little bit and they try to play more attractive football now.
"The manager is a big believer in trying to express yourself and if you play football or you are a winger, he wants you to go out and take people on.""In previous years under Sam Allardyce they had the players who are known to play a bit direct but things always change in football because as personnel gets older or moves on for whatever reasons, they obviously had to replace those players," Cahill told chelseafc.com.
