Chelsea defender Gary Cahill insists they won't be distracted by their row with ref Mark Clattenburg.

Blues did bounce back with a 5-4 win over Manchester United in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.

Cahill said: "Whatever is going on off the pitch, players relish playing.

"So it's important we don't let anything affect us. We showed in midweek that we won't allow that.

"I had never felt as angry and disappointed about a game two days later as I did after Sunday's defeat.

"So we really wanted to put that right in the League Cup tie against United on Wednesday."
