Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma has confirmed he's leaving Hamburg.

Bruma is on-loan at HSV, but will now sit out the remainder of the season after ruling out extending his stay.

"Technical director Frank Arnesen told me that it's not going to work. I will leave HSV and return to London," said Bruma.

HSV chief Thorsten Fink confirmed: "I said that I'll only select players who will fight for the club. This is a player who wants to leave the club, so naturally it is difficult to consider him."
