Zenit St Petersburg are closing on a deal for Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.

Sky Sports says Ivanovic's move away from Chelsea is 99 per cent done.

The Serb is closing in on a switch to Zenit St Petersburg on a free transfer.

Personal terms have been agreed and he'll jet out to complete the move in the next 24 hours.

Ivanovic will sign a two-and-a-half year deal with the Russian club and there will then be an option of a further year for the 32-year-old.
