Chelsea defender Alex has priced himself out of a deal with QPR.
The Mirror says Alex will not be joining QPR after failing to agree personal terms.
The 29-year-old defender has been in talks with Rangers over a potential transfer across west London.
But it is understood Alex will not be joining Mark Hughes' side as the club are unwilling to match his wage demands.
