Chelsea dealt huge blow as Morata & Fabregas ruled out of Arsenal clash

Chelsea have been dealt a huge blow ahead of their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg clash against Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Manager Antonio Conte will be without attacking weapons Alvaro Morata and Cesc Fabregas for the short trip to the Emirates.

The tie is level after the first-leg ended 0-0 and Conte will now be relying on the likes of Eden Hazard and Michy Batshuayi to provide the necessary firepower.

Speaking at the pre-match news conference on Tuesday, Conte said: "Morata has a problem in his back and is injured.

"Morata and Fabregas are definitely out, they're not available for us. Then I have to check a couple of situations [in terms of injuries to other players]."
