Chelsea's move for Real Madrid star Kaka is not dependent on manager Carlo Ancelotti staying.

Ancelotti worked with Kaka at AC Milan and was believed to be key to Chelsea's chances to landing the former World Player of the Year.

And with the Italian expected to leave Chelsea at the end of this season, doubt has been cast over the prospect of Kaka moving to London.

But AS says even if Ancelotti is dumped, Abramovich will push on with a deal for Kaka. The Russian billionaire would love to bring the Brazilian to Stamford Bridge for next season.
