Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata was delighted to be on the scoresheet in their Capital One Cup win over Arsenal.Jose Mourinho will surely have been impressed by Mata's display at the Emirates, though, which included scoring the killer second goal.

Asked if he had reminded Mourinho of his ability, Mata told Sky Sports 1: "I just try to play and enjoy my football.

"The manager is the one who makes the decision. I always try my best for this club and that's what I will always do."

The Blues have now beaten Manchester City and Arsenal in their last two games.

Mata said: "I think we are ready to fight for any title."
