Chelsea midfielder Ramires is gutted to be out for four weeks with a knee injury.

He was due to have an MRI scan yesterday to check on medial ligament damage.

Ramires hurt himself as he blocked a Clint Hill shot for QPR.

The Brazilian said: "The ball hit my foot with force and twisted my knee. When I fell on the floor I was already feeling a lot of pain and thought it was something really serious.

"Doctors looked at it and said the medial ligament in my knee was stretched."
