Chelsea are edging closer to landing Malaga midfielder Isco.

The People says Chelsea's decision to send Lucas Piazon on loan to Malaga for the rest of the season has moved them a step closer to landing Spain sensation Isco.

The Blues now head a queue of Premier League clubs - which includes Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham - who have been courting the attacking midfielder.

And the deal to send Piazon to the La Liga club last week strengthened their hand further as Malaga prepare to cash in on the £19million-rated Isco.

The Blues would love to get a deal done for Isco, 20, this month but Malaga will try to hold off until the summer.
