Chelsea have confirmed that a Premier League club have made an offer for wantaway defender Alex.
The Brazilian centre-back is keen to depart Stamford Bridge this winter, with QPR believed to be heavily interested, and it has emerged that a top flight outfit have now made a bid for his services.
Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas confirmed there was an offer on the table but did not specify which club it was from.
"It is a player who we have accepted a transfer request for, so we have to listen to offers.""From what I know from my chief executive, there has been an approach from a Premier League club," he said.
