Chelsea confirm Anelka departure to Shanghai Shenhua
Chelsea have confirmed the departure of Nicolas Anelka for Shanghai Shenhua.
Chelsea have confirmed they have agreed a deal for the French striker's permanent transfer when the transfer window opens.
Former Arsenal, Real Madrid, Manchester City and France star Anelka has already been welcomed by his prospective new team-mates, with captain Yu Tao writing on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter: "It's impossible not to be excited by this - a warm welcome to our new team-mate!"
Goalkeeper Wang Dalei added: "Tell Anelka he made his new team-mates really proud!"

It is my pleasure to be a united family. To you Sir, Sir Alex Ferguson, I think Man united has lost their hungry for trophies but i can't fault the squad bcuz they are weak. I will urge you to buy like 3 to 4 players in january from d defence &midfied. also, Phil Jones is quiet okay in d defensive midfield. thank 4 your attention.
