Luis Enrique has stalled talks with Chelsea about succeeding Antonio Conte.
The Daily Star says the ex-Barcelona coach tops the Blues' shortlist of potential replacements for Conte.
But so far Enrique, 46, who has taken a year off after three seasons in charge at the Nou Camp, is reluctant to commit to last season's Premier League champions.
That is down to Arsenal wanting him should they decide to part ways with Arsene Wenger this summer.
Enrique would prefer to make his return to football at the Emirates Stadium rather than Stamford Bridge because of Chelsea's reputation for constantly hiring and then firing managers.
Paris St-Germain are also keen on him – and Blues boss Conte – though in a perfect world they would choose Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, who used to play for them, over both Enrique and Conte.
