Chelsea concede Jurgen Klopp was key to Liverpool beating them to the signing of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Daily Mail says Chelsea believe Oxlade-Chamberlain decided to join Liverpool in a £35m deal after being told he would be playing at wing back for the Blues.
They were keen to use Oxlade-Chamberlain in a wide position at least in the short-term.
However, his frustration at Arsenal has been due to a lack of opportunities in central midfield.
Chelsea also suspect Oxlade-Chamberlain was taken in by Klopp's warm approach to man-management, whereas Chelsea take a far more straightforward approach.
