Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid.
The 25-year old Brazil-born Spanish striker has joined the Blues on a five-year deal for a fee reported to be around £32million.
An official Chelsea statement read: "Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce Diego Costa has today completed his transfer from Atletico Madrid by signing a five-year contract.
"He will join up with the first team for our pre-season European training camp next week."
Costa departs Spanish side Atleti after his second spell which began in 2010 after returning to the Vicente Calderon from Valladolid.
He leaves Atletico having scored 64 goals in 134 appearances including 27 La Liga goals last season as Los Rojiblancos took out their first Spanish title since 1996.
