Chelsea No2 Ray Wilkins has avoided commenting on QPR's ownership dilemma involving Flavio Briatore.
Rangers are under the spotlight after co-owner Briatore was banned by Formula One's governing body following the 'crashgate' scandal.
According to Football League rules, no-one can own a club if they are banned by another sporting governing body, and the League have asked the FIA for more details of Briatore's ban before deciding whether to take action.
Wilkins, a former QPR manager, refused to be drawn into the controversy.
"That's their situation and they'll handle that," said Wilkins. "I've got no comment to make on Formula One.
"I don't actually like Formula One, so I won't comment on that.
"I really enjoyed it at QPR but it's changed now. They have financial backing now but they're still the same club in terms of the football they play.
"The manager always wants them to play football. They had a fantastic result on Saturday (a 2-0 win at Cardiff) and will come here with high spirits."
