Chelsea coach Adi Viveash praised Dujon Sterling for his performance in their EFL Trophy defeat to Swindon Town.

Sterling, 16, was handed a start by Viveash.

"I don't like singling out individuals but I will on this occasion because Dujon was outstanding against league opposition. He was physically strong, good on the ball and defended brilliantly so a special night for a young kid," the coach told chelseafc.com.

"We worked tremendously hard off the ball so I'm slightly disappointed for the players. If we had reached our level a bit quicker in the first half, and but for some great defending and good goalkeeping, it could have been a different."
