Chelsea are closing in on a deal for Fluminense striker Richarlison.

The Daily Mail says the 20-year-old was expected to join Ajax from Fluminense for £12million and had provisionally agreed a five-year contract but the Premier League champions have stepped in to try and tempt him to England.

The exciting forward can play on either wing or as a striker and has also been speaking to Sampdoria and Inter Milan.

The Brazil U20 international was linked with AC Milan and Manchester United in recent weeks only for his agent Renato Velasco to discount any approach from those clubs.
