Chelsea will have to wait until Friday to close the £18 million deal for Benfica midfielder Ramires.
The Daily Star says Ramires, 23, has already passed a medical and agreed personal terms with boss Carlo Ancelotti on his switch to the Bridge from Portuguese champions Benfica.
But he will play for Brazil in their friendly against the USA in New Jersey tomorrow night before flying into London.
Ramires, who will sign a four-year contract, will reinforce the midfield after the exits of Michael Ballack and Joe Cole.
