Chelsea chiefs in contact with Real Madrid star Ronaldo amid London house-hunting

Chelsea are in contact with Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo again cast doubt on his future this week as he continues to publicly push for a pay-rise from president Florentino Perez.

"If possible, I would like to retire in Madrid. But it does not depend on me because I am not the boss of the club," he said.

"We'll see..." '

Don Balon says Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, has three initial offers on the table - with the most attractive being from Chelsea. Further adding to the claims is news over the weekend that Ronaldo has been house-hunting in London as he wants son Cristiano Jr to have an English education.

PSG are also in contact with Mendes and have asked to be kept up to speed on developments. As has MLS powerbrokers, where the US game would welcome Ronaldo with open arms.

A move to David Beckham's Miami FC has been mooted for the former Manchester United star.

However, Ronaldo is understood to want to remain in Europe as he continues to compete with Barcelona rival Leo Messi to be the world's No1.
