Chelsea have jumped into the race for Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet.
Boasting an affordable buyout clause of €35m, Lenglet has held talks with Barcelona and Manchester United since the end of the season.
However, L'Equipe says Chelsea have also made an approach in the last 24 hours.
Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has been in contact with the defender's minders with playing assurances high on the agenda. Unlike Barca, Granovskaia has relayed the coaching staff's confidence that Lenglet would be a first choice at Chelsea.
However, Lenglet has also been told the final decision will be left with the new manager as Granovskaia continues her search for a successor to Antonio Conte.
